A Programme is kicked off with the 58 enthusiastic Hindu, Muslim, Christian and Jain Community youth participants of the SNMV School Scouts and Guides, Coimbatore,Tamilnadu State, india. From 06-08-2016 to 07-08-2016.The main reason of this project is to make an Interfaith and Inter culture harmony in
the different religious youngsters mind. The participants are aged between 14 to 17 years.
The Guide captain Mrs. Kannamal inaugurated the programme at 15:00 hrs on 6 th of August in short and solemn ceremony. An Input session on Interfaith and Inter culture harmony delivered by Mr.Balaji, Objectives of the Programme discussed in the evening. To motivate the youngsters few competitions were conducted on first day followed by a group debate and a dialogue related to Intercultural Harmony.
Participants were busy with the Group Discussion after that presented their personal talents in a Camp Fire. They took part in all the activities with full energy and getting idea, how they can spread Peace. They are very happy to be a part of this Inter faith and Inter culture Harmony Programme.
The second day (07-08-2016) commenced with the attractive programme. Participants came with their Traditional and religious costume and they explained about their Culture. After the tea break the participants actively participated in the Painting, Poster making and essay writing related to Inter faith and Inter culture harmony. In the evening the winners got the Memento and all the participants got a participation certificate, they were very happy to receive the certificates.
