What a journey! The G20 Interfaith Forum - IF20 What a journey!

The G20 Interfaith Forum - IF20 forum has come to an end, and so has our participation in it representing the youth.

And we feel so much gratitude right now.

This gathering was more than just conversations: it was about action, connection, and reaffirming the power of youth in shaping interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding.

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support and collaboration of our partners and friends:

🌟The Stirling Foundation for believing and supporting us
🌟Imran Taib and the Dialogue Centre Singapore for walking this journey with us.
🌟The Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers for amplifying our reach and impact.
🌟URI (United Religions Initiative) and Charter for Compassion for standing with us to create spaces for dialogue and change.

To our old and new ACWAY Fellows: Your expertise, energy, and courage are the heartbeat of this movement. You continue to inspire us every day with your commitment to flipping the view and making change where it matters most.

And finally, to our organising team , pulling this off in just five weeks was nothing short of extraordinary. The dedication, long video calls across time zones, and creativity behind the scenes truly paid off. ❤️🫶🏻

This forum may have ended, but the journey continues.

Thank you for being part of it.

If there’s anything our ACWAY fellows can take from becoming part of our global network, is the feeling of support and resilience.

It’s not always easy to be the change makers or the pioneers within our communities, but we’re here to remind you that not only do we have your back, but you also have each other.

What was your biggest takeaway from this past forum? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Our Director, Liliya Khasanova, delivered closing Our Director, Liliya Khasanova, delivered closing remarks during the last session of the G20 Interfaith Summit.

"Over the past few days, I witnessed something extraordinary. 55 young people from 25 countries and 13 religious and faith traditions came together not just to go on a journey. Over the past several days, the transformation was incredible. We built a community, we built trust, we found courage, and most importantly, we are leaving with the motivation to act."

This forum also marked 10 years of ACWAY.

10 years of building bridges and encouraging interreligious and intercultural dialogue and action.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us this far, we hope you continue to support us and follow our journey because we are just getting started.

For the first time, during the closing of the G20 For the first time, during the closing of the G20 Interfaith Summit, a panel discussion between young and older leaders was held.

We are grateful for this opportunity and hope it marks the beginning of emerging leaders being invited as experts in their fields and as equal participants in intergenerational discussions at future events.
