Ukraine: Civilian Evacuation Support

A lifesaving effort to assist in the safe evacuation, shelter, and protection of civilians affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

A Common Word Among the Youth is a global youth movement which brings together young people from a multitude of backgrounds to increase understanding of different cultures and faiths, promote peace and coexistence, by delivering local community activities.

How to truly become an ACWAY fellow?Check out the pictures from one of the ACWAY projects delivered by two of our South African fellows!There is so much more to ACWAY than just attending a forum. To be considered for future events, participants must create and deliver a project within 6 months of participating in a forum.The main requirements are:
- Promote interfaith and/or intercultural dialogue
- Address 1 or more interfaith goals
- Engage participants from at least two different faiths
- Be voluntary (this shouldn’t be part of your work)
- Not use evidence from unrelated activities to present them as an ACWAY projectWith fellows from 85+ countries represented, you can imagine the wide range of projects we’ve had over the years!If you’re an ACWAY fellow reading this, tell us where you’re from and what your project was all about!#interfaithdialogue #acway

We are delighted to announce that our upcoming ACWAY Global Youth Forum 2026 – From Intercultural Dialogue to Action, will be taking place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from the 8th of June to the 10th of June 2026.This forum is organised by A Common Word Among Youth, in partnership with the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan (@yoshlaragentligi), supported by our longstanding partner, The Stirling Foundation, in collaboration with the Dialogue Centre Singapore (@dialoguecentresg), and supported by United Religions Initiative (@uriglobal) and the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers.This year’s forum will bring together emerging leaders aged 18-30 from diverse regions, genders, and faiths, particularly those who have previously been involved in interfaith/intercultural peacebuilding or in relevant local projects or organisations.We’re excited to meet our new and returning Fellows in a little over a month!
