Izzy Ben-Ebrahim (South Africa) is an educator, linguist, facilitator, and spiritual activist. He is a KACIID Fellow and serves as an Executive Member of A Common Word Among the Youth (ACWAY).

Izzy’s work spans curriculum design, social justice advocacy, interreligious dialogue, and decoloniality. He has worked with South African and international institutions, engaging with themes of belonging, identity, language, and the ways in which individuals come into being within contexts of conflict.

He holds a B.A. in Linguistics, Arabic, and Hebrew Language and Literature and a B.A. Honours in Hebrew Language and Literature. His academic research focused on the development of modern Hebrew through the analysis of Aramaic texts in the Tanakh (Old Testament).
