Riley Anderson is a Program Officer for the ACWAY Executive Committee and has been with ACWAY since 2021. She grew up in Utah, USA, and currently resides in upstate New York with her significant other and their dog, Kiko.

Riley began her interfaith journey in 2018 while interning for a religious studies professor at Utah Valley University. What began as a semester-long internship evolved into a leadership role on the UVU Interfaith Council, where she served for one year as the Service Projects Representative.

She holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Rochester, with a focus on conflict resolution and international relations. Following graduation, Riley worked at the New York State Assembly, where she helped secure funding for the Buffalo Family Justice Center, investigated and supported accountability efforts related to wrongdoing at the Buffalo VA Hospital, and contributed to legislation supporting housing improvement loan programs designed to enhance housing quality and overall quality of life, as well as further legal protections for survivors of domestic violence.

Riley currently works at the Buffalo Museum of Science, where she focuses on guest-facing interactions that are accessible, accurate, and engaging, ensuring science education experiences better meet the needs of the local community. She has spoken at the International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington, D.C. and the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago, and attended both the annual ACWAY Forum and the Interfaith G20 Summit in Italy in 2021.
