Jehangir Malik OBE is a civil society leader and strategic adviser with more than 30 years’ experience across the UK, USA and South Asia, specialising in humanitarian response, social impact and strengthening civil society. He has led and advised a wide range of organisations focused on community resilience, faith-based action and systems change.

Current role is Exec Director for Together With Refugees, previous roles include: Strategic Adviser to UNICEF South Asia on philanthropy and diaspora engagement, and Director of the Voluntary and Community Sector Emergencies Partnership (VCSEP) at the British Red Cross during the COVID-19 crisis. He has also held senior leadership positions at Muslim Aid and Islamic Relief UK, supporting faith-inspired humanitarian responses across more than 30 countries.

Jehangir currently serves as Board Member for ACWAY, Chair of Soul City Arts, Non-Executive Director of ACH and He also holds a number of Board and commissioner roles, including with the National Emergencies Trust, The Woolf Institute and the West Midlands Combined Authority. He was awarded an OBE in 2010 for services to humanitarian work.
