In July 2019, A Common Word Among the Youth (ACWAY) hosted its fourth international forum in Baku, Azerbaijan, bringing together 47 young leaders from 33 countries representing diverse faiths and cultures.
The forum focused on interfaith action, multicultural dialogue, and leadership development, equipping participants with practical skills to design and implement peacebuilding projects in their communities. Through workshops, dialogue sessions, and collaborative project planning, fellows explored topics including conflict resolution, cross-cultural engagement, and the role of youth and technology in interfaith cooperation.
Held in partnership with the Baku International Multicultural Centre and the International Summer School of Multiculturalism, the program combined training sessions with cultural visits across Azerbaijan. Participants developed new initiatives, strengthened international networks, and deepened their commitment to promoting tolerance, coexistence, and intercultural understanding worldwide.
