In August 2025, ACWAY hosted the Youth Interfaith Forum (YIF20) in Cape Town, South Africa, in partnership with the G20 Interfaith Forum and global organisations including the United Religions Initiative, Charter for Compassion, and the Network for Religious and Traditional Peacemakers. The Forum brought together young leaders, faith practitioners, educators, and civic actors from across the world to strengthen interfaith collaboration and youth leadership.
Through workshops, dialogue circles, and collaborative sessions, participants developed practical skills in advocacy, dialogue facilitation, and intercultural communication while designing initiatives to implement in their own communities. Fellows also engaged with the wider G20 Interfaith Forum, amplifying youth perspectives in global discussions on peacebuilding, climate challenges, and social inclusion.
The Forum strengthened international networks, empowered young leaders to launch community projects, and reinforced ACWAY’s mission to support youth as active agents of interfaith cooperation and positive social change worldwide.
