Can you believe it’s already been a year since our Can you believe it’s already been a year since our Youth Interfaith Forum in Cape Town?A year since 55 emerging leaders, from 25 countries, and 15 faith and non-faith backgrounds gathered to share ideas, drive action, and reimagine youth and interfaith collaboration.A year since we welcomed the amazing Cape Town cohort to our global network of Fellows.A year since young leaders joined IF20 panels to share their expertise in areas ranging from mental health and AI ethics to addressing ethnic tensions and gender equality.A year since our Fellows stood up during sessions at the IF20 and made sure their voices were heard.A year since the first intergenerational panel discussion was held during the closing of the G20 Interfaith Forum.A year since we made friends and connections that will last a lifetime.A year since we attempted to create High School Musical: Cape Town edition. And a reminder on #InternationalYouthDay, that even though the Forum is over, young leaders want opportunities for real influence not performative involvement. And a reminder that we will build our own table if we aren’t given seats at existing ones.

Day 3 recap! After some improvised dancing it was Day 3 recap! After some improvised dancing it was time to get back to work! That meant honing in on your pitches. The reason you were all chosen to be at this edition of ACWAY was because of your commitment to your communities - and after everything you’d taken in during this forum, the idea is for you to implement this and take it back home. But what better way to do this than to get feedback from your peers? And you did, multiple rounds of it! This also allowed all of us to feel more invested in each other’s projects 🥰After our closing ceremony, we visited the Founder’s Cafe to learn more about different initiatives being implemented by the youth here in Tashkent. Our day ended with a cultural dinner and some dancing! And that’s a wrap for this ACWAY forum!Thank you to all of our supporters, participants, partners and sponsors. None of this would have been possible without you. What was your favorite moment from the last day? Let us know in the comments down below!
