The programme began by gathering all of the participants together for the first training course in December 2015 in Rabat, Morocco. It was a period of intense residential training and project visits which enabled participants to observe examples of dialogue in action. On the final day of the course was the 1st ACWAY International Forum where we officially launched the ACWAY project to the rest of the world, bringing those who care together to join the initiative and support the young people’s projects and ideas.
The project was launched with the support of our main partner The KAICIID Dialogue Centre (King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue). The training course was delivered by the KAICIID Dialogue Centre and our Global Youth Partner the World Organisation of the Scout Movement.
In addition to the training there were also social activities arranged during some evenings; these provided an informal opportunity for networking and cultural exchange.
